Raymond served as a 4.2 Mortor Gunner for 7 months with Line Company F, then to field hospital for 11 days.  Ray received his Honorable Discharge at San Diego, CA, June 26, 1952.     Ray enjoyed making patriotic iartwork and was featured in the Sioux City Journal
