After working at IBP for 3 years and understanding what it was doing to my joints and body, I enlisted in the Air National Guard to begin a different career. This decision turned my life around from being a robot to a human being. In the Air National Guard, I was a firefighter, a job encompassing to resolve every "What If" situation someone can find themselves in. Spending 20 years (1986 - 2006) in the same career with many wonderful experiences and meeting equally wonderful people. I was deployed to active duty status for Desert Storm/Shield, Flight 232 and 9/11 for Enduring Freedom
